BOARDING KENNELS

Here at Archway Kennels, we want to offer your dog a wonderful doggy holiday, while you're on yours!  Our kennels are bright, spacious and well heated with individual heat lamps.  Each one is 14’ by 5’ and comprises of a bed area and integral run, to which the dogs have full access 24 hours a day.  All dogs are supplied with a large plastic bed with hygienic, warm vet bedding inside. And of course they all get a night time treat before bed!

Exercise

Our boarders are taken out into large astroturf or resin exercise runs three times per day for play time! Our outside and inside runs are fully cleaned three times daily to ensure our high hygiene standards are maintained.

Food

We cater for most diets, with our own brand of dog food, and will keep your dog's home feeding routine as much as possible.  We also have chicken, tuna and other scrummy extras on hand for our more particular guests!  If your dog has special food, we are happy to feed them that but please bring it with you and provide enough for the entire duration of the stay.  We advise that puppies are fed on their usual food to avoid upset tums, so please bring your puppy's food along.

Medication

Medication can be given at no extra cost but please bring enough with you to last the entire duration of the stay, with clear instructions on the administration.  We have a variety of cheeses, hams and pate (which is usually the favourite) to pop any medications in, for those dogs who are clever enough to eat around them otherwise!

Things From Home

Please feel free to bring any toys and treats for your dog to help them feel more at home, but we do encourage the use of our own vet bedding rather than your dog's own bed.  This is purely for hygiene reasons; it means we can change the bedding whenever necessary so your dog will always have something clean and warm to curl up in.
